And it’s Saturday...

This morning for SBS we had what I call Bonnie’s waffles.  Light and fluffy made with egg whites. excellent.  Yesterday it was in the 80’s and we had snow… It was windy and the Bradford pears are starting to shed their flowers  in a blizzard of white.  A couple of us decided to play the first golf of the year.  It was so windy we changed our minds and hit a few practice balls instead.  Golf is one of the few community sports where social distancing can be maintained.  The rules have changed a bit.  The pin must be left in and not touched.  No rakes for the sand traps and no post round hand shakes…

Apparently now that testing is becoming more common, we are finding more disease than we thought.  Our doctor has reacted to the increase by closing the office. Yeah… Who needs a doctor during a pandemic... The lawn guys showed up though so I guess its just a matter of priorities.  The good news is people are learning the benefits of good hygiene.  Even my video game character is avoiding crowds of aliens…

The news interpreters continue to beclown themselves as PDT calls them to task for their incessant attempts to blame him. They just can’t get over themselves.

Jackson called yesterday to check on us.  He is on leave in PA with his folks.  He has to report to his ship by April 2… Scott also checked in.  He thinks the olympics will be cancelled.  He was scheduled to be an official photographer but now may visit when Kayla comes in June.  The Jakarta International School has shut down for now.  They don’t sense a huge outbreak in Jakarta but the medical facilitates are pretty primitive so they aren’t testing and live on in ignorance…

I wonder if I stopped playing my video game, would the pixels just overflow from the monitor and fill up the house…?  Many pixels are of Chinese origin… Good Lord…  I had better get to work and save us all from pixel-borne virus contamination…  Sigh, it’s always the almost old people who rally for humanity.
