Busy with real life

I was asked by fellow game clan members why I have not been playing… My answer is that sometimes the real world just gets in the way…

For example I must fear everything… There is the whuflu… there is the leaning birdhouse pole in the back yard…. There is the the need to replace the outside lamps that have been dimmed for years… The wood at the base of the garage doors is rotting… And above all there are the murder hornets… Much to fret about.

Turns out I need yet more flesh removed from my upper arm… I suspect a democrat conspiracy since it’s my right arm… my voting arm… I will not be cowed.  This removal will be done in the hospital under light anesthesia… sort of the equivalent of several good shots of scotch.  I volunteered to bring my own but apparently not necessary.  As part of the pre-op check-in I had to undergo a Covid-19 test.  No immediate results.  It was not a comfortable test… Evidently, under the leadership of our black face, infanticide advocate, gov ralphie, Virginia hasn’t been on distribution for the instant, less invasive test.  I had hoped to be tested for Covid-18 which I am pretty sure I have had but there seems to be very little flexibility on the part of the testers.

Yes, Mei Mei did get a new iPad.  She is delighted.  I also got a toy:  the Apple Pro ear buds with active noise cancelling.  Thery are amazing… I can actually hear through them, over the noise of the lawn mower.. But the best news is we had a 10% scratchoff…  Thus we avoided having to face a SpecProc for violations of scratch off spending, we got some toys and saved 10% of of money we would not have spent otherwise…

I am not a fan of celebrating a Mexican holiday even though I know its really only about tequila… Never the less, there are some troubling questions about the 5th of May this year…

And if that isn’t troubling enough, consider this…

That’s all folks…
