Small thing...

Having suffered a moralistic mental breakdown over the NYY banning “God Bless America” by Kate Smith earlier in the season I did not have enough interest to actually watch the first game of the World Series. But this morning I did wonder, absently, who won the game.  The paper of record here in VB, the vaunted Virginian-Pilot, notable for parroting democrat garbage from the WP news feed, could not be bothered because the game ended “late”.  None of the news pages I read in the morning referred to the game. There was a surplus of ant-Trump bias in evidence but no baseball news.  I finally gave up and asked Siri.  She informed me that the Nationals and Astros will play game two this evening.  Sigh…

My theme is: democrat bad, bad, very bad.  And that is a supportable position. On the other hand, if I were more fair minded and had even a modicum of mental balance, I could easily tout the theme that PDT is bad, bad, very bad.  His petulant outcries, name calling and bad behavior requires significant effort to block from my consciousness.  I didn’t want to vote for him; but I did because… well… you know… bb hil.  The stupidity of the democrats is exemplified by the jars of insanity they present as potential Presidential candidates… Were they to nominate anyone, and I mean ANYONE, with a whiff of moderation about them, Trump would be toast.  Even, maybe especially, a charismatic democrat like Roscoe, could topple the most powerful man in the world.

Well there is always the hope that they’ll bring back the witch...

The weather idiots went into hyperdrive yesterday as the storm that produced the tornado in Dallas moved East targeting Virginia.  High winds, monsoon rains and “severe weather” were feared.  Yeah.  we got some heavy dew and well… that’s about it.  It’s another warm sunny day that makes the grass grow.  I’ll be mowing at some point unless I can find alternative occupation.  Hmmmm… what could that be…
