You may or may not know or care that MLB is in the middle of a labor dispute that may resulting no Spring Training or in the extreme, no professional baseball this season. You may wonder what all of the fuss is about… Beats me…  The minimum wage for a MLB payer is $570,000. On the other hand the average salary for a truck driver is $77,527.  Let’s see… one gets to play a game for roughly 8 months a year, half the time sitting on a bench, and the other supplies food and necessities to society.  Call me when the truckers are on strike… Oh wait they already are…

A quote from twitter (via Instapundit “If truckers quit their jobs, society would immediately collapse. If politicians quit their jobs, the world would become a better place. We need truckers more than anybody else.”

p* went to NYC to address the crime problem.  In the minds of most impartial observers, he ignored the crime problem.  We have always has a class of folks who want what you have and will take it without remorse.  Society has always created a wall of rules and laws and accompanying harsh punishments to keep that sort of behavior in check. If the punishment fails to fit the deed, we have a crime problem.  Not a gun problem, not a race problem, not a societal  problem.. A crime problem. In the days of the wild west, we had hanging judges and summary executions.  Today we have bail reform, reduction of felony crime to misdemeanors and the overt blaming of victims.  Oh well… maybe p* will delegate solving the issue to vp*… Yeah… that’s the ticket…
