Sunday

Sunday school, Church, meeting potential adopters of Khloe and… go yeah… Super bowl hype and nonsense. A couple of comments…  There was a prolonged and painfully stupid discussion on the “lack” of black head coaches in the NFL.  Coaches who do not achieve what the team owners consider success are routinely “fired" and replaced by others with hopes they will succeed where the predecessor did not.  If there were an amazing candidate who could motivate and lead a team to achieve an owners goals, would that man be rejected on the basis of his skin color…?  I leave the answer as an exercise in financial logic…

Then there was the playing of the “Black” national anthem… just makes me sad…

The half-time noise was incomprehensible and an obvious indicator of my senility that I can’t understand why so many people though it was great…  God help us…

The game was pretty good, although the officiating was inconsistent and generally poor…

During our Sunday School discussion, the point was made that we lack moral leadership to bring the world back from a track defined by that described in the Revelation.  One questioned whether one or more of the souls aborted by those self-possessed people who worry about woman’s control of their bodies, might have been the leader who brought us back from the brink…   Good question.
