Halley is altogether cute  sweet and loving.  She never stops wagging. Unfortunately there are some health issues .  She has severe arthritis in one leg that causes her to limp badly.  Infected ears and tick borne disease.  Poor baby.  She’e very small and a bit undernourished.  She came to the right place to get that fixed.  Nobody stays undernourished in this house.  Did I mention she’s not housebroken... Sigh…  She doesn’t look at all like the picture posted yesterday so I assume that one was of the other boy who came in from Turkey with her.  He’s Comet.  Now you know why rescue groups shouldn’t be in the naming business.

How about them Russkies…?  Interfering with our elections.  The nerve of those guys…  I mean stacking the deck with super delegates to shut out Bernie and having debate questions passed along from complicit news interpreters…  And that whole dossier thing to trap Trump.  Wow… Oh wait… That wasn’t the Russians…  Must be another indictment coming… Go get her Mueller …

If you are looking for me I’ll be over here holding my breath.

A Florida Teacher, Teacher of the year in fact, has gone viral with a post about common sense.

“Until we, as a country, are willing to get serious and talk about mental health issues, lack of available care for the mental health issues, lack of discipline in the home, horrendous lack of parental support when the schools are trying to control horrible behavior at school (oh no! Not MY KID. What did YOU do to cause my kid to react that way?), lack of moral values, and yes, I’ll say it – violent video games that take away all sensitivity to ANY compassion for others’ lives – as well as reality TV that makes it commonplace for people to constantly scream up in each others’ faces and not value any other person but themselves, we will have a gun problem in school,” the sixth-grade language arts teacher wrote.

Raley said the only thing she holds dearer than teaching students is her faith and family, and that her father, a military hero, and her mother, a retired school teacher, inspired her to be who she is today.

I’m guessing she isn’t one of these:
